CARE – Do’s and Don’t
- Look fabulous in blklash and spread the love
- Trim lashes to the perfect fit
- Be gentle with your lashes
- Store in our box between uses
- Apply mascara on BLK Lash
- Submerge lashes in liquids
What you’ll need:
Mirror, tweezers, eyelash adhesive, mascara (optional), eyeliner (optional), cotton swabs, and scissors
Curl and apply a coat of mascara to your natural lashes.
Step 1: Preparation
Remove the lash tray from the box by lifting the ribbon. Carefully use your tweezers to remove lashes from the tray. Always pull the lashes from the ends. If you have used your lashes before, you can skip this step and remove lashes from the ends using your fingers.
Step 2: Cut to Fit
We want to measure the eyelash so it aligns to the width of your eye. In front of a mirror, place the eyelash on the eye (without glue) and slowly adjust to fit. When you have found the correct width, cut the lashes accordingly using your scissors on the outer portion of the eyelash. We recommend doing this multiple times, trimming a little each time until the desired width is achieved.
Step 3: Eyelash Adhesive
Apply a line of eyelash adhesive on the lash band. After waiting the recommended period of time (see your eyelash adhesive’s instructions), you are ready to apply the lash onto your eye!
Step 4: Applying your BLK Lashes
Using your fingers or tweezers, apply the eyelashes on your eyelid, as close to your natural lashes as possible.
Step 5: Completing the look
This step is optional. To enhance your look, apply eyeliner. You should never apply mascara onto BLK Lashes as it will damage the delicate materials.
REMOVAL & STORAGE
What you’ll need:
Makeup remover solution (waterline safe), cotton swabs, tweezers and spoolie (optional).
Dip the cotton swab into your makeup remover. Roll the cotton swab while brushing it against the entire eyelash band. Repeat this step on your waterline.
Using your thumb index finger to sandwich the mink eyelashes, gently lift and pull away from the eye. Avoid pulling on individual mink fibers. If the lashes do not come off easily, repeat until lashes are easily removed.
With the lashes removed, dip the cotton swab into your makeup remover. Roll the cotton swab across the glue on the lash band.).
Using your thumb and index finger to sandwich the mink eyelashes (to maintain the natural curl, eyelashes should sit flush against your finger) use tweezers to gently remove the glue. Be careful to only grab the glue and not the eyelash band or mink fibres.
Using tweezers or your fingers, place the eyelash in its original tray and luxe box until its next use.
